Zoe Lenore (a dream I had about my daughter before the appointment during which I learned I had miscarried)
You were born
Beautiful as a sunrise
Radiant and so divine
My angel
You had my hair, your father's eyes
I couldn't hide my surprise
That you were mine
I held you
I named you
I loved you
I woke from that sweetest dream
Not knowing I had seen
The last of you
Your heart had stopped and so had mine
I don't think I've ever cried
For so long
And now you're with the Lord on high
I still carry your memory in my mind
And always will
When I held you
When I named you
We'll always love you

I can express no words for anything and everything you are feeling. It is sad to know of what occurred and I too would have been devastated. I am sorry, Tree! :( Please find solace in knowing that your little sprout of life is with lord and as safe as she possibly can be..
Your poem is wonderful! With elements of hope, glee and sorrow so beautifully expressed...and I know I can't know what you are or have been going through right now! But please try to rely on us. We got your back <3
