Storm within
Within our mind it like a winter storm
flashes of the past come crashing in
just like ice within the winter storms
they hit us like ice would
no were to hide
no way to get free from the storm within
like a snow fall that come fast and dumps lots of snow on the ground
the storm within dumps the things from the past on us
Storm within
the feeling of shame and weakness come
we ask self why did we not tell someone out side our family
why did they hurt us was it our fault
we see this storm within flashing like lighting the memories
now feeling come like the lighting in a storm
not one know our storm within
we smile acted ok but we not
the storm within at times is to much for us
others sat how well we doing how good we handle things
we say to self why do they not get the storm within
they only hear and see what they want
never question us about the things within
the storm within is like a secret that one can not tell
but it there it is filled with shame and hurt
storm within rages on but no one truly know what it like for us
storm within we wish you end
we wish other know what this storm within is like for us
