Narcissus

O Narcissus
My lost one, my dearest one,
Ye bloom in every sunlight,
Gazing upon thyself.

O, the quiet misery-
Sorrow takes over,
Drops of tears fall,
Awakening the dried riverbeds.

My lost, my dearest,
Thy beauty ends in tragedy.

Very Shakespearean.

Interesting tones.

It has the ability to transport through the ages

I enjoyed 🩵🤗

I really like this. Did you do the painting also or just the poem? Either way I really like both!
