A few drops of ink

*feels nervous*

So I wrote this (TW for mentions of pain, tears, vague mentions [i think] to unaliving andd thats it i think)

I could write a thousand poems
On how it hurts, deep inside
Sing a hundred songs
Of all the pain, the world has to hide
I could talk of broken homes,
Hum tunes of dying hearts
Walk through fallen stones
And memories, torn apart
And someone, somewhere, deep in tears
Will still have no one to drive away their fears
And someone, somewhere, in darkness still
Will be filled with growing holes, somehow drilled
And we can give a minute, an hour, a day of remembrance
But pain has an ever lasting fragrance
No poet could write
The depths that this earth
Has held, with its love,
Of pain and of hurt
But maybe a few words,
A few drops of ink
Can show someone, somewhere
Their ship need not sink
Their hearts can keep beating
Their soulds need not set aside
Hope may be fleating
But compassion is by their side
As long as eyes can blink
And hurts can hurt,
As long as they can think
They need not lie deep in the dirt
So accept my few drops of ink
And know I care, for what its worth

Its probably dramatic 😭
