Dancing in the Rain
Dancing in the Rain
I want someone who will dance in the rain if I want to,
Even if he’s not in the mood;
Who will give me the blanket on the couch because I’m cold,
Even if he is cold too.
I want someone to pick me up and spin me around,
Because we got home and I wanted to dance in the rain;
So he twirled me around,
And we danced to music only we could hear.
I want the rain to pour on our faces as we slowly dance,
For you to whisper a joke in my ear,
And I laugh so hard I can barely stand.
I want someone to love me like they do in the books,
To always make me happy,
To be afraid to make a mistake because of how much you care,
I want someone to love me instead of someone else,
Because they simply wouldn’t dare.
