My life was grey, like a stone,
No big wishes, no regrets known...
Until I saw that beauty, made of love,
By the master alchemist in heavens above...

I wished to talk, I wished to know,
But words seemed short before her angelic glow...
She stood near me, but it felt like a mile,
My knees went weak when I saw her smile...

I took a glimpse, I saw her eyes,
Filled with love, devoid of lies...
I wished to touch, when she smiled,
Those porcelain cheeks and dimples mild...

I closed my eyes, I told my heart,
Please make my shyness break apart...
I opened my eyes, but she was gone,
I was a stone again, which now felt alone…
