when a chicken is lost
i am, too
chickens may seem, to some
insignificant
yet, they hold awareness
and when that awareness
is forgotten
neglected
unseen
part of life goes unvalued
we dislike being caged
i am sure:
no form of awareness
appreciates being caged
we are not utilities
neither are they
a chicken's life
deserves respect
care
and attention
what life can thrive
without honest and proper love

Chickens are very valuable too since everybody loves to eat them.
Every animal has things that can relate to us..
Like your poem chickens are abused like many of us.. and they are neglected as well.. When we stop to think all animals are trapped here on Earth to all play the roles we were given..
At least other animals don't have to make money just to get the opportunity to live on the planet..🌲
