I am a firm believer in healing hugs! I used to make my daughters " hug it out" if they were fighting or arguing.. I could most DEFINITELY benefit from a hug right now

yes i really do need a hug. i need much more than. but a hug would be better than nothing. my life has been consumed by insufferable, seemingly insurmountable and endless solitude. i've never gotten to enjoy true love. i've been starved of affection, starved of romance, starved of intimate companionship. i don't remember what even modest affection is like. it does something to someone-- it impresses a very profound, very painful wound to be so completely deprived of the gentle caring touch of another. it hurts to endure so much unremitting solitude without ever being shown any physical warmth, without ever even being so much as flirted with, or as a heterosexual like me, without ever feeling desired by the opposite sex. i don't think any quality woman will ever want to touch me, will never want to hug me, and certainly nothing more.
yes. for what it's worth, i could appreciate a hug. i want so much more than that. but without any friends left and without the smallest sliver of a prospect for love or any form of affection in the conceivable future, i suppose a hug at this moment will do.
