[Outdated] Aging up as a teen!

Hey there teen community!

Are you a teen member turning 18 up anytime soon?

No worries! Turning 18 can be a scary age for some, youre aging up, and is a young adult now, how do you feel about that? On 7 Cups, when it comes to aging up, there are some things that do happen when you switch over to the adult side once turning 18.

For starters, your account switches over on the day of your birthday and youll be on the adult side quick and simple. Its sad not seeing your friends, not having regular people you speak with and I understand how that can be annoying. However, just because you might not see them in the rooms (until they themselves have turn 18), doesnt mean you wont see them again!

What happens to all my teen friends?
You can still interact with them on the feed, sometimes if you have teen listeners, if they are kept in your pm list you can still speak to them and theres always the lovely forums which are filled with lots of places to speak with them! If you find that they are not in your pms list, then you can go into Path then My progress and click on the envelope icon beside their name.

What will I see when I age up?
Youll see lots of member chat rooms than on the teen side, youll also be seeing listeners who are over 18 if you are searching for listeners on the browse listener page as well as adult-teen listeners.

Is there anyone that can help me with transitioning over?
Of course! We have an adult-teen buddy project created by @Holly29 where you can reach out to an adult-teen listener and they can help you out in any way, whether its going in the rooms, explaining how the adult side is, etc. However, its currently being revamped but we will let you know when its back up and ready.

Its all new when switching over but there are some things that still stay the same! You're not alone in this. If you have any questions when it comes to aging up, you are more than welcome to ask in this thread or PM me!
