"At a time when chaos in our world has grown to extreme levels, millions are questioning their life’s meaning and sensing that there must be something more. For those who are relying on external influences to give their lives purpose, they find themselves unfulfilled.

But we all have the ability to pave a path beyond the chaos to a place of sacred calm.

It’s accessible through bringing together the practice of mindfulness with the spiritual sense of becoming one with a higher consciousness. With mindfulness as the ever-present guiding escort, we are able to explore the divineness of life beyond the surface.

This needn’t be a religious experience, but rather one that connects us to “sacred truths,” or the universal principles and divine laws that every human being can live with when choosing to be present with the mystery of life."

*Being able to separate the tactile things in life with the whole picture can be difficult at times. I think when we are faced with the chaos that is our world, we can become very overwhelmed and not understand that this craziness doesn't last forever. We are more than our physical selves and I think this article wants to share the knowledge that we can find comfort in that fact. Mindfulness can give us almost relief from our busy, stressful lives. Instead of being nervous about the unknown, let it bring you comfort. Find joy in what you don't know and allow it to be a place of calm for you. I am someone who definitely enjoys the thought of meditation, but I am still trying to find that calm in me to actually do it. Do you meditate? If so, do you find it helpful when you are feeling overwhelmed with the world?*

Lovely post topic @fruityPond7887! :)

- I try to make meditation be the first thing I do when I wake up before I even touch my phone. I find it extremely helpful when navigating through the world's ups and downs because at that moment I recognize the importance of recharging, restoring and connecting with myself in order for me to keep my focus as well as compassion for others.

@SirenOfSerenity I love that so much! It's so important to set the day up on the right foot and I think you have a great way of doing that with meditating the first thing in the morning! Thank you for sharing! ☀️
