Pause, Be Mindful, Stop Overthinking
"Overthinking everything will harm your mind. Are you one of those persons who over-analyzes every situation, every time? Don't worry, you are not alone. In fact, it is common in our society. But is it healthy to obsessively analyze everything?
No, this is an unhealthy habit. A very unhealthy habit. If you are suffering from 'Over Analysis Syndrome,' I'm about to let you in on some helpful information.
How to practice mindfulness and stop overthinking.
If you are an anxious person, then you constantly obsess about everything. Anxiety is not your fault, and you can manage this anxiety. How can you manage your anxiety to help prevent overthinking? The goals to stop overthinking are to:
- Accept the situation as it stands, if you cannot change the outcome or change what you can and move on.
- Find an anchor to switch your mind's focus off the object of your obsession.
This method might not work immediately, but over time with constant use, it becomes easier. If you have a way to help yourself practice it as much as possible. Obsessing about a problem will contribute to physical health problems you surely do not want."

✨Takeaway: Sometimes the mind dwells longer than necessary on a certain thought. Most of the time, it happens unintentionally. And no matter how often you divert your attention, it always seems to come back to this one thought.
If you can't change the outcome, accept the situation as it is, fix what you can, and go on. Locate an anchor to shift your attention away from the subject of your fixation.
✨Reflection: Do you overthink situations often? If so, how can you reduce this?

I have no Idea how to stop it. It is time consuming and mentally exhaustive. But honestly this over analysis never takes me to the wrong conclusions. When i do it, it's seems worth it all. When i look back at it, it gives the actual conclusions. But could i have avoided it.. not giving the situation as much importance as i did?
Probably.
I never could so i never know.
ONLY When I have one thing more attractive to think about, is when the other thing isn't analysed.
To reduce it, is like asking an ostrich to let go of its running ability and fly like any other bird.
So let's rather shift it on things that won't affect our mental state as much.. like asking the ostrich to run on a treadmill which generates energy while we run on it.
So instead of overthinking & analysing stuff like situations we experience or expect to happen, we should put it in our work whatever we do for a student they do it in their academics, for a professional they should do it in their jobs
But that's an ideal world scenario.. I am yet to be able to do that.. But someday somehow, definitely 💪🏼

@innateJoy9602 Thinking is wonderful but similarly to everything in life, having too much of it is never good.
Mindfulness is a very effective way of combatting every sort of overwhelming feeling such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and generally overthinking.
