The Color Psychology of Emotions!
“Our surroundings can influence our emotions. Some places
irritate us, and some have a relaxing and calming effect. Each color has a
meaning and brings up emotions. Color meanings have their science, art, and
psychology.
Colors can influence our moods, emotions, and behaviors. We can see colors in everything around us. It can be the calming effect of blue skies or your local fast-food chain’s saliva-inducing red and yellow.
Three categories of colors. Their naming can help you to choose your need.
1. Warm colors. Red, yellow, and orange. Their variation is pink. These colors evoke warmth and brightness and are associated with the sun. They feel us with optimism, enthusiasm, and passion.
2. Cool colors. Green, blue, and purple. Their variations are like violet. These cool colors are commonly found in nature and are known for their calming effect. These colors are calming, relaxing, and subdued.
3. Neutral colors. These include brown, black, and white. Their variations are like gray. They can be powerful and pure. They can be paired with warm or cool colors.
Color meanings depend on culture, time, and combinations.
1. Cultural differences. In China, red is associated with good luck, but in South Africa, it means mourning. Depending on where you operate, you’ll need to be sensitive to these differences.
2. Time. Colors mean changing over time. Red was once seen as an intense, masculine color, while blue was a feminine color, fit for girls. Today, it has changed.
3. Color combinations. Color may have a general meaning, but lighter shades are different compared to darker shades. For example, if you’re using neon green, it will be a good fit for an eco-friendly brand.”

That's a hard one because I like a variety of colors, but my favorite color is green. As for my house, I stick with a cream looking paint so that's pretty neutral huh. :P

This is a tough choice for me! If I really HAD to pick one I would choose the warm colors. I guess it just fits my personality more.
However, I do have a deep appreciation for the neutral colors. The majority of my clothing are these colors. Interestingly enough, white is the combination of all colors and black is the absence of color. So the dated and frankly racist term “colored people” is stupid and incorrect. People are people.
