Vision Boards are Full of Power
“Creating a vision board is simple enough. First, you add your wildest dreams and wishes for yourself, also known as SMART goals. And then get a canvas. Your canvas is your favorite word processing or presentation software if you want an electronic vision board. If you want a physical vision board, you need to buy a corkboard and get a printer, paper, scissors, and pushpins. In both cases, you will need to access Google Search or Pinterest.
Sweet Dreams
💭 “Put what (you) consider to be the hardest thing on a vision board, the thing that’s impossible to accomplish.” - Lilly Singh
SMART!
Specific — What do I want to achieve? What’s in it for me? Why do I want this? Why do I have to do this now? Who is involved? Where is it located? Are there resources or other limits?
Measurable — What will success look like when I have achieved each goal?
Attainable — brainstormed key results or interim steps you will take to lead you to the outcomes you desire. Think of these as steppingstones.
Relevant — You needed to know that these things applied to your life here and now. Also, test that the goals and the interim steps are within your control to accomplish.
Time Bound– The end date for all your vision board items.
So Real I Can See It!
With the ideas chosen for your first board detailed in your journal, next stop is Google!
The pictures that represented each item were the most accurate you can find. Also look for quotes and affirmations that speak to you. Arranged all the pictures and quotes on the corkboard with cute wooden pushpins.
💭 “Every single image you put on this board is going to come true in your life.” - Lilly Singh
