Hello everyone!

We all have the power to make a difference, but sometimes knowing how to start is the hardest part. Today, I'm hosting an AMA about leadership.

If you shy away from the word "leader," I completely understand. Instead, I encourage you to look at these as impact opportunities. You don't need to be perfect or have everything figured out to make a meaningful impact in this community.

I’m here to demystify what it means to step up. Ask me anything!

Drop your questions in the comments below.

When I was a freshman in college a professor said "Glen, be a leader." I had never thought about it before. I read a bunch of books on leadership. It changed my life.

Many of you are likely in the same position I was in when I was 17. I just hadn't thought of being a leader before. I almost didn't have it as a concept. Now, there is an entire discipline around it called "Leadership Studies".

It can be a very smart personal and professional move to better understand leadership. This is one reason why we launched the LDP!

Someday, I hope to truly become a leader… yet I often find myself avoiding leadership because I carry a real fear of it.

I’ve just completed a Community Building course, and I gained so much from it. I’m genuinely excited to put what I learned into practice — but the fear of failure still follows me.

I’m sharing these thoughts because they might resonate with anyone who feels the same way. Just a small reflection from the heart.

Thank you so much.

I used to be very apprehensive about the idea of leadership myself, but 7 Cups taught me 1. how easy it is 2. how I can grow at my own pace 3. that the kind of leadership we do is in service so many of us are already doing it and 4. this is the best place to learn all the skills within the most forgiving environment. I also learned there's no one which way to lead and that changed my whole perspective.

Thank you sooo much for sharing your own perspective. <3 And I promise you, here, there's no failure, only trying and learning.

Oh, 😊 thank you so much… your words truly touched me. I promise to rethink it again. I’ve always loved facing my fears and I don’t like letting them overcome me. Thank you so much for your words, your reply, and for supporting everyone — including me — all the time.💪🙏
