@amiableVision1813 is a dedicated academy mentor who has been consistently focused on supporting interns. They go above and beyond to ensure the interns they check-in with get proper guidance and support. They offer extra support to the program when they can and communicate any breaks they take. They are a responsible leader who is well aware of their commitments. The Academy is grateful to have them as a leader and we appreciate their efforts towards the 7 Cups Internship program and especially the interns they check-in with!

Getting to know Vision! 1. What motivates you to be a volunteer? The fact that I can work without earning any money is what motivates me to volunteer. I know that this might sound odd to most people, so here is my explanation: Things get serious and complicated once money is involved. With paid work, there are taxes and other legalities. These complications take the fun away from the job. The absence of these is what motivates me to volunteer.

2. My proudest 7 Cups achievement is the Peer Appreciation I received from Fristo through my member account. It really made my year and lessened my depression. I'm thankful to Fristo.

3. Which fellow 7 Cups leader(s) do you admire and why? Oh, I admire a lot of leaders on 7 Cups. Hope, Obs, you, Fristo, Elliot, the other mods, and more! I admire all of you because of the way you keep the whole community running smoothly. You all overcome obstacles on the site. Each month, there is an improvement.

4. Which active listening skills help you when communicating with your teammates and fellow leaders? Validation is my primary skill when it comes to active listening. It always helps when the other person knows that they are heard and that they are not alone in a problem.

5. What's next for you on your 7 Cups journey? I have been curious about the Anonymous Evaluations and the Lightship Program. Their work aligns with the things I like to do. Unfortunately, I still cannot find time for another role right now. I will certainly join one of the two once I get enough time.
