Coded or Conversational?

Do you like being a planned coded software, or being natural and conversational?
Let me share my thoughts, then I invite you to share yours!
I think it's better to be yourself. I think it's better to be informal than sounding like Noni. I think it's better to be quiet within your safe boundaries and talk only when you truly feel like talking.
Not saying coded/planned can't be good! It can be! But when? When not? Let's discuss it together!
I'd like to hear what you think! Please share below.

I love this thread! It is something I ask myself a lot. I'm going to say both. Because I like genuine. Someone use the word freestyle and you use the words being you. Those are genuine. I do however like having a chance to collect my thoughts before speaking in which case a plan or an agenda helps. My preferred motive communication is writing. It is much easier to communicate here because of that. I have a chance to collect my thoughts before I reply. I have more trouble in the chat rooms but I enjoy following along. I think at 7 cups there is a little of both which leaves room for everyone's preferences. Well maybe not everyone's... Perhaps we can communicate someplace here just with photography or drawing a picture.... I think there might be a little of that too!

Regarding your question:
- Do you like being a planned coded software,
or being natural and conversational?
My reply:
- I feel the world is becoming more and more dangerous lately
so it's become necessary to talk like planned coded software.
Otherwise one can get into big trouble!
- For example,
if someone violates the unwritten rules on any forum, on any website,
they can get banned immediately forever with no warning.
- If one talks to someone in real life or online
and says something the other person finds offensive,
they can become very angry
and even do violent or malicious or stalking-type things.
- If one talks to someone in real life or online
and reveals too much personal information,
the other person can use it against them.
- If someone talks or searches online,
their text or voice can be recorded
and put in a profile database
that can be used against them.
- Also, there seems to be growing social pressure
to talk in an expected way
and say expected things
and play expected roles.
- If one doesn't talk the group's message-line,
then they can get ostracized or bullied
or ignored or excluded
or even attacked.
So I'm trying to talk more and more like planned coded software online and in real life.
- It's difficult to switch to, especially for my personality type.
- The other option is say as little as possible and let the other people do the talking.
Thanks Fristo for bring up this topic! It's very relevant.
