I grew eating oranges for dessert.
Those homemade sugar cookies with the Hershey's kiss planted in the middle... I didn't get any this year.

Pavlova.
The specialty I make is Pecan Pie; but my favorite is Brazo de Mercedes (spelling?), which is basically a merengue(?) loaf with custard rolled up in it.
Sweet potatoes with marshmallows :)
