Hello Dr. Crumlish. I do not mean to sound stereotypical, not at all, but do most people that attempt/succeed with suicide, is it generally the lower income/poorer areas of town? Thank you.
Thank you for this...I can use this information to educate patients coming in as suicidal in the ER where I work. Thank you to everyone who bright in questions...they were great questions!

but we can't always prevent suicide. If there is a god, he will understand that there was a lot of suffering - life is not easy, life is not pretty.....

@wanttohaveabigheart -- Don't worry. They won't delete the thread. I'm not sure exactly where it will be stored, but you can do a Forum Search (box at the top) for Suicide Prevention Day and this thread should pop up. :)
