Referral Clicks?
Hello all! I was directed to the Social Soldiers thread when trying to figure out how to meet the 70 referral clicks needed to become an intern. I have to admit, I'm still a little confused as to what exactly a referral click is. Does it mean someone says I referred them, as part of their process in signing up? Does it mean someone requests me directly as a listener? Does it mean someone refers a member to me specifically? And how does Social Soldiers play into all of this?
I have asked this question before in a listener support chat Room and all I can tell you is my understanding of it but I'm open to correction by Others.
In order to get referral clicks you must paste your refferal link on a website outside of here such as Facebook, or tumblr, or twitter etc. And for every person who clicks on it and is directed to your profile, it is counter as a referral click. -I think!
Social soldiers do this by sending this to people who tag certain stuff on tumblr, such as depression, mental illness, i need to talk, etc. But you should check out there thread for better info.

You have to share this link on other sites, for getting referal click.
So it has to be people who never was on 7cups before. For every new people refered to 7cups, you get 1 referal click.
This link does NOT direct on your personal profile, and they don't have to interact with you on here. They don't have to create a member or listener account for being counted.

thank you for clarifying that, it was one of the reasons I was so hesitant about social soldiers, out of fear it would direct them to my profile and i would become overwhelmed by the amount of people coming to me but the fact it doesn't makes alot more sense.

I am a volunteer listener on the site/app Seven Cups of Tea. It is a helpful place where people can talk or vent anonymously one on one to a trained listener for free. There also supportive materials, forums, and monitored chat rooms for different concerns on the site.
It is a very good resource for a variety of issues including anxiety and sleeping well for example. To insure anonymity and a confidential environment, guests and listeners cannot connect with who they interact with on the site so as to keep it a support site and not a social site.
The listening sessions interactions are chats by text only.
As a motivation and reward for the volunteers, we can earn certifications for our volunteer work. One small part of the certification is to promote the site. This way more people who could be helped by it know about it.
So, I am asking if you will click the link so I can get credit for promoting the site. Also, please pass the link or site/app name to a you think might benefit from it.

@amazingGrace12--as others have said, referral clicks are added up when someone clicks on your unique URL which is at the bottom left side of your dashboard (teacup icon). Social Soldiers is one way to spread that URL while having fun sharing about 7 Cups. Here's the Social Soldiers thread. It also includes the application for the teams.
