Book that close to my heart ❤️

There is a term in English called "idée Fixe." Psychologically, 'idée fixe' means "a persistent, irrational idea or delusion that dominates a person's thoughts and heavily influences their behavior."  In simple words, it means “A fixed/obsessive idea that dominates one's thoughts"

 That is what I have with "To Kill a Mockingbird"..!!

When I first read it, I thought it was a great book. Then I read it again, and again, and somewhere along the way I got convinced, what an absolutely perfect work of art this book is! It’s that kind of book that anyone who can read simply cannot afford to miss. And trust me, I am not even saying enough! No one can say enough or use enough words to bring justice to the beauty of this book! 

One day, a fellow reader asked me what made this book so special to me that I brag so much about it.

-I said “Its innocence. It’s way to teach us humanity!”

And I truly believe this is the heart of this book. Harper Lee shows us prejudice, racism, injustice, and the ugliness of society without ever making the story feel as heavy as those lecture-sorts-of books. She lets us see the world through a child’s eyes—and somehow, that made this book so calming yet powerful.

And then there is Atticus Finch (who became my forever favorite literary hero). His quiet humanity, his principles, and the subtle way he teaches his children to be better human beings are gonna stay with me forever. 

The writer’s way of portraying the story was so vivid that I felt as though I was physically living in Maycomb, Alabama, growing up alongside Scout, Jem and Dill, exploring the world and slowly discovering its cruelties and complexities with them. My heart aches for Tom Robinson and over Atticus’s failure to bring him justice. And every time I reread the book, I feel as though I understand a little more of what Atticus was trying to teach his children— or perhaps what Lee was trying to teach her readers.

This brilliant writer makes us open our hearts like a child before she asks us to understand the world like an adult. 

And how abso-freaking-lutely she nailed it! I have never loved a classic more than this one. <3

I hope that everyone gets to read this book at least once in their lifetime, experience its beauty, innocence, brilliance and so much more in this great piece of literature and discovers for themselves why it is so profoundly beautiful....
