Hey I wrote my own novel a while back, posting a part of it, lmk.
Chapter 1- Point Of Views
She felt weird, walking past the midtown park.
The park was full of couples, some were holding hands, while some just looking at each other.
She wasn't lonely or jealous, she didn't even crave love.
The girl who used to laugh at her friends whining over their petty relationships, felt something.
While love being the least thing she wanted to add to her troubles, she still wanted to experience love.
But she knew that she didn't want this desperate feeling to rule her and hasten her into getting in a relationship.
A part of her didn't believe in love another loved listening to fairy tales,
A part of her made fun of love Stories another wanted to be normal.
She never found attraction or a face to stare at.
Even though she has a lot of admirers she never admitted of having one, as all their love slowly passed away.
As she passed the park, she left these thoughts behind, locked in her subconsciousness she knew they'll find a way back, and she didn't want them to, as these thoughts weaken her and she cannot afford to get any weaker.
Her dorm was still a little far away, so she decided to take the bus, as she stood there at the bus stop she saw the same desperate faces as hers staring back at her, well almost the same; as one can point out major differences between a crave for lust to a crave for love. well how does one know that these starers craved lust, probably because their eyes gave it away. between these eyes she saw one embaressed eye looking away from her time to time, soon she realized it was her who was staring at him in the first place, she quickly looked away.

I recently read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Its a wonderful read. It highlights how you should journey towards a goal overcoming the obstacles in the midst. It motivates us to strive towards a goal, believing that if we really want something the whole universe favours us in its achievement.
