If you enjoy science fiction I really enjoyed Children of Time (as well as the two follow ups). It deals with some terraforming projects gone wrong as humanity tries to hedge its bets and various species end up achieving sentience through an engineered virus. The first book is easily my favourite but the rest have very interesting ideas on what consciousness could look like in bodies and brains very different from our own.

@Enjoylife02 No, not really. There is a dog in the story, but it's mostly about other things. It's a really ironic story about Danzig during the 2nd world war, and it's super funny!

I LOVE the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. They're absolutely amazing and I've read every single book. It gave me so much joy. There's drama, suspense, angst, and just so many twists and turns. It's a great series and I 100% recommend it! Great books!!

I agree that it's useful in life! I find myself thinking back to principles I read often and a variety of situations. I really resonate with the idea of winning a battle in a quiet, non violent or outwardly hostile way and how you can win a battle without the opponent realizing that there was a battle in the first place. Great strategies to use in any competitive environment.
