@Reachforthestars00 I've actually only ever seen the movie of Girl, Interrupted - so often I forget that screenplays are based on books, lol! There's a website called 'what should I read next' which chooses titles for you based on books you've enjoyed, if that's of any help. So for your book above it recommends 'Prozac Nation' as another you might like. That one I have read, way back, and it was certainly impactful.
