Which are your comfort books?

Books have always been my safe space. Whenever I used to feel down, I used to pick one book and let it take all my sadness away from me. One of these special books is the Harry Potter Series. When I feel lonely, I read it and it makes me feel like I belong like all those characters in it are my friends (I know silly, but, yeah, haha).

What are some of your go-to comfort books?

@AskTara

Harry Potter (tho I feel guilty with all the controversy around the author) and my copy of the 3-in-1 version of The Lord of the Rings has always been rereads for me when I feel lost. They helped me a lot through high school and early college, so they hold special meaning to me.

Some new books I've found that I think will become comfort books are "Swordheart" by T. Kingfisher (I don't think I've ever connected so much with a main character before) and "Book Lovers" by Emily Henry.
