Someone who is blindfolded is possibly better off than someone who forgets. A blindfolded person could walk into a field and ask when it got there.

A forgetful person would grow said field, only to forget it ever existed when they made it. Only to let it die once again. And then grow it, and wonder, and then kill it.

The skull is a terrifying place, when you have alzihmers, the thin dome your brain resides in, that it used to reach out forever and always, is now a cave, keeping it sealed in. Locked away from hope.
