Victor Frankl was indeed a brilliant man & his surviving the N*zi death camps was a tremendous achievement... Even so, he's half-right. All decisions a human makes are inevitably affected by the conditions in which (s)he lives.

Human beings have the potential to overcome those factors and make a decision independent of those conditions and circumstances. If they are not doing that, we know about their character and what they are made up of.

So you believe in free will, then?... Because "making a decision independent of" circumstances etc. pretty much fits the definition.
