Thankful for Loving Reading
I’m thankful that my mom homeschooled me, and modeled a love of reading by reading in front of me and with me <3 I’ve spent 30+ years absolutely in love with books, begging to be taken to book sales, digging through boxes at curriculum sales, saving and buying books and curriculum for my future kids, sharing books with others, hoarding books (and giving them away after I read them!), and basically being a happy little book-collecting dragon hehe <3
@jesusredeemedme2425@jesusredeemedme2425 You're very fortunate to have had someone model their love of reading as a youngster Kiara, I'm also a fellow book lover, although less in print these days and more Kindle and (particularly) audio books - I don't workout or travel anywhere unless I've got headphones on to listen to one. Asides from curriculum, do you look out for anything else specific while second-hand hunting? LOL at the book-dragon image, btw! 🐲
I go to bag sales and stuff TONS of books into one bag! I’ll tell you my secret for packing bags uber full if you want hehe!
