Sure, here are my answers to your thinking questions:
1. My favorite books are usually within the fantasy genre. I love being transported to magical worlds, encountering fantastical creatures, and experiencing epic adventures. It allows me to escape reality and immerse myself in captivating stories that spark my imagination.
2. My older sister played a significant role in helping me love reading. She used to read me bedtime stories when I was younger, which sparked my interest in books. Her enthusiasm for storytelling and sharing her favorite books with me created a love for reading that has stayed with me throughout my life.
3. I'm not crazy about reading self-help or motivational books. While I understand their value, I prefer fiction because it allows me to disconnect from the real world and delve into different realms of imagination. Fictional stories offer me a sense of wonder and adventure that I find more captivating and enjoyable.

I am unsure how I came across this posting LOL. But hey it was fun to write this.
“What are your favorite books or genres and why?”
Fantasy Sci-Fi
“Who helped you to love reading and why?”
As an adolescent I didn’t enjoy reading. But did enjoy comics ‘Moon Knight’ was my favorite. It wasn't until later as a young man that I enjoyed reading books. First was the Dragonlance Chronicles.
“What is something you aren’t crazy about when it comes to reading and why? ”
Some Authors.
An example of one Author is J. R. R. Tolkien, who doesn’t know Tolkien’s “The Fellowship of the Ring” wait, you may not have known that, but do know “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” movie? If Tolkien were alive, the movies would have never happened. I theorize Tolkien did not want define in detail what a reader is seeing. Such as movies are required to do. He did have small illustrations for his books, like maps and such. But I think he would rather the reader to define what something looks like.
Isaac Asimov, great author. Great scientist in my understanding. But I am not a fan in reading his material. I think the Scientist in him comes out too much with detailing things. Such as:
“This woman
is the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. You desire for her is great!”
What if I were a Gay man? Then I would not be desiring.
So …
“This person is the most beautiful person you have ever seen. Tall 6 feet,
slender and defined, sculpted like the Greek Gods.”
As a Gay man, maybe I would desire the short and stocky Danny Devito over tall
and bulging muscles of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Or a bearish man such Al Borland.
Or maybe I am a Lesbian? You get the point.
The Author’s audience is diverse enough, that to be
able to appease all of them is impossible. I do enjoy the movies but some of the
books are far better than movies. Except for Foundation TV series is better
than reading the book for me.

Why I like Fantasy Sci-Fi?
At the time I developed the interest it was because a Fantasy world was Superior than the one I was in.
Who helped .. Why?
Comic books, Moon Knight, There was something about Marc Spector and all his DID was kinship or fun or intriguing to me as a child.
Reading Comic as a child or books as an adult/young adult became a safe world and a free world without judgement or abuse
1) Non-fiction, psychology thrillers, true life stories and inspirational memoirs (specially related to children with troubled pasts and recovery)
2) Books have always been an escape to me. Now, this is an interesting story! When I was in primary school, I saved someone from bullying and everyone stopped talking to me. I went to my mom crying about it and she told me to make books my friends and I did. And honestly, they still heal me💛
3) I'm not crazy about fantasy novels. Don't know why but they don't interest me much. I often feel midway that it's not reality and just I don't know. There are exceptions though and I'm open to everything. If there's any fantasy book you'd like to recommend then I might try!
@Yougotmyback
These are amazing responses. I am so glad you helped someone from getting bulli3d. I am sorry that people stopped talking to you however, I am so glad that your mom told you to make books your friend. That is an interesting story.
💛💛 Thank you for the appreciation

- To answer the first question, I'm more inclined towards Fantasy, YA, Crime and thriller genres. I'm not against other genres, but these are the ones which makes takes me away from the reality for a short while.
- This one might be a bit weird, but i started reading to spite my friends lol, they weren't letting me read something that they showed to the rest of the group, so i went back and started looking for that passage (from the vague descriptions i overhead) and i fell in love with reading. It started with childish act to spite and ended with me falling in deeper into this lovely rabbit hole called reading.
- I'm not too keen of self help books, like some of them are fine, but i never had the courage or the interest to go past 10 pages, and that's saying something ( in my case). Other than that, I'm not a big fan of to-read lists, like every other reader i keep on adding books to it, but it is then left untouched till the next recommendation arrives, which shares the same fate as the previous one lol.
1. FANTASY FTW! There's just something about magical worlds supernatural creatures that's so fascinating. It's a perfect escape from reality, plus it's amazing for daydreaming. It's helped me find the beauty in our world too.Let's just say it feeds my delusion. I swear dragons exist,I'm just waiting for them to pop up somewhere.
2. I got myself into reading because it sort of ended up being my coping mechanism. My safe space. When things at school weren't going so well i could always turn to my books to provide comfort. Sometimes people irl can be exhausting to deal with so I turn to my fictional ones. Reading has also helped me pick up the most genuine caring friends ever. Its surprisingly motivated me to study too. If the MC can learn how to fight, use her powers, save the world, within 100 pages of a book then why can't I finish my one math assignment? 💀
3. Most non fictional/self help books. I don't mind reading them but they wouldn't be my go to. I think the main reason why I read is to escape from my problems in reality and such books don't exactly help me in that way. I just don't feel like I'm 'reading' when i pick up such books. I do love encyclopedias tho.

1. My favorite genres are mostly romance and humor, I tend to enjoy books that take me away from the harsh realities of life. A book that has a happy ending, it’s easier to imagine that there’s hope some where, some how and that love exists even if it’s just fictional.
2. I can’t remember if there was a particular person that made me start reading. It was more of an escape so I found as much books as possible I didn’t have a favorite genre then in fact I just read whatever I laid my hands on
3. I don’t like non fiction, I’m trying to escape the world’s harsh reality for a while not get into it again most of them don’t real have a satisfactory ending also not a fan of motivational or self help books.
