i love this quote!
If I had 1,000 Ideas, and only one worked ! I would be Satisfied.

“Those who sing well, pray twice.”
St. Augustine
@LovingPeacefulHeart

The ability to sing, doesn’t need a techno beat, a orchestra, auto tune, or a concert, sometimes just a little fellowship hym can bring you to preserve in your trials.
“Cowboys ain't easy to love and they're harder to hold. They'd rather give you a song than diamonds or gold“
“One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide”

Ever wonder why some actors are so successful and wealthy? Because acting takes a form of action, they are constantly in movement of endeavors, the same with the scripts they are reading, they have to embody someone else, the lines they read, the characters they are playing, this is synonymous with wisdom vs knowledge. One is being able to read the lines given, the other is to embody and apply what is written. Wisdom is chief among abilities.
So true, it’s amazing how even in pew research studies, we see that atheist lead the way in numbers of most alcoholism, most suicide rates, and detrimental things. While Buddhism, Christianity and Islam have the least amount of detrimental figures such as those.
This is reminiscent of what Leo said, religions and religious practices gives us the building blocks to overcome things, to double up on education, to provide us structure and stability, all we have to do is practice it, it’s like laws, if we uphold them, it will uphold us, speeding laws is not for cops to just give us tickets willie nillie, it’s so we don’t over speed and crash, the same way some of our scripture laws are in place as statues so we don’t have to either overwork ourselves trying to figure everything out, or trying to reinvent the wheel, for almost all laws and fundamentals can be found in the Bible, quran and other holy books. Even more so, our fellowship, our churches and mosques, are their to lean on, our crutches and comfort, our corrections and aid. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
Teaching us how to let go of the unneeded, and attain the ones we do need to live. We shouldnt question so much, for questioning is a form of doubt, doubt is synonymous with fear.
instead we should be obedient, obedience is a form of discipline, and discipline is a form of hope, and hope is synonymous with faith and courage.
This is ridiculously hard, but it is doable, we have to put in the steadfast faith.
Mind, body and spirit.
Work, gym, church.
Check to check, test to test, chapter to chapter.
Fiendship, brotherhood, fellowship.
@Simpleman123
I wonder what kind of church your are in - I know you will not tell.
@Helgafy
Baptist and mormon is who I frequent with, but the fact that you have a bearing of the trinity, doesn’t seem you are Christian, seems more like you paultian.
Muslims believe in Matthew, John, Luke and mark. Yet why doesn’t a single denomination of Muslims believe in the trinity? Rastafarians don’t believe in Jesus as God, they believe and pray to Jah, Jahovas witness don’t believe Jesus is god, they pray and believe God is Jahova, in psalms 68 David says praise Yah. I also don’t really care for the numerous titles God is given, but following the word in its self.
As we all struggle, both rich and poor, righteous and unrighteous, good and bad, we all struggle. But I chose to be on the righteous and good, but my righteous falls short of what God wants, so I will be closer and closer to that.
I don’t know what Bible you read, nor care for what church you go to, for the church is but one piece of a whole. Church is a check point, not a indefinite home.
I am a man of faith, small and fragile like peter, but faith none the less. Mustard seed will grow.

Tomorrow is another day
one of my favourite quotes from one of the best classics
@helpfulOcean6350
Doesnt sound to promising, for one we aren’t promised tomorrow, and two, it sounds like you don’t enjoy today.
It’s the same as we can always get more money, but we can’t get more time, this is important to know, since if you put off tomorrow, it may never come, for laotzu says, time is a created thing, to say I don’t have time, is like saying I don’t want to.
In other words to say tomorrow is another day is like rejecting today. You have to embrace the challenge’s and priorities and go through it, so you can let it go, but if you don’t, it will stick with you, you carry over the same lame day, when you can embellish the day and truly have a better tomorrow.
“To attain knowledge, add things every day. To attain wisdom, subtract things every day
- Lao tzu
Another african sayings says, you are taught to remember useless things, how many leaves on a tree but you don’t know how to value a tree, how many teeth are in a dog, but you do not know how to value the dog, how long the river is, but you do not know the value of a river. It’s the same with relationships, you know what you want out of your spouse, but don’t know what they want, thence you cannot value them. Relationships work both ways. And how they work. If you value someone, your love is insuperable, thence the coined term, better to live and lost, than to never loved at all.
If you don’t love today, you may not love tomorrow, if you don’t love tomorrow you won’t love the next morrow. Learn to live in the moment, like Alan jackson sings, never had a plan just living for the minute.
Thats life.

“I wonder how many people I’ve looked at all my life and never seen” - John Steinbeck 💙💙
