Beauty and the Beast

When The Beast let's Belle go to her father, and releases her, this is a very important plot point.

It shows that he accepting of himself, and he truly loves Belle.

Belle means beauty, remember the beginning when Beast only cared for beauty? This is him, truly letting it go. The old woman in the beginning was wrong, and said he would never let it go. This is him doing it, both literally, and figuratively.
