What is kindness to me? Poem

Kindness is not easy. 

Kindness comes form a genuine place. 

It is about doing something to see the twinkle in the other persons eye; not your own eye. 

Kindness is not the popular and flashy phone. 

It is the rooted values - appreciating a book and a beautiful drawing for what it is. 

Its from a place of connection - let the branches on the try find each other and connect. 

Letting things flourish and grow and meeting people where they are at. 

A lot of people can be friendly and nice but not kind. 

Kind doesn't come from a place of "Recognise me" but a place of "I see you - I put you first."
