8 year relationship over
I have been with my partner for 8 years now and we have a mortgage.
At the beginning of the relationship I caught him inappropriately texting somebody else but we moved forward. Due to this and other occasions I have been very moany and funny if he goes out which I know I shouldnt but I felt so insecure.
Last year he actually cheated on me and had someone in our bedroom. Again I wanted to move forward.
This weekend he told me he is unhappy, resents me for stopping him doing things, doenst wanna cuddle me or come home therefore he cant be in the relationship.
I am beside myself and cant imagine my life with anyone else. I love eveything about us as a couple and the things we do. I cant stop thinking it has gone to far and he wont miss me and want to work at it.
@energeticSpring7553 you can't make someone stay if they don't love you all you can do is move on from him but it might take time to fully get over him since you were with him for 8 year's.

I'm so sorry for the pain you're going through. Unfortunately no matter how hard you try, you can't make a relationship happen by yourself. If he's not wanting it to work, you can't make it work on your own. Perhaps visit with family for a few days to take a step back and analyze the situation from a little distance.
