A "break" after mayhem :(

I've been in a close relationship got two years now. Two weeks ago I found out my girlfriend was cheating on me. I didn't leave her, I wanted to talk and work things out. I went down to her place and we had a good time. It seemed like things were going to be okay, but when I got home she wanted a "break"

I know she's not seeing the other guy (he was beyond crazy), but she claimed she needs to figure out her life. Since then she hasn't talked to me really. I'm not sure what I should do. She agreed to see me in a month, and not to date anyone in that time. Is all I can do wait? Should I bother waiting? She said she still loves me. I feel like if I try to talk to her I'll push her away, yet I have so much on my mind.

@Kyruu

Trust is a very tenuous part of a relationship. I am personally a bad example-- once someone loses my trust, I stay away from them completely.

How do you feel about it? Are you able to get over it and trust her again? Do you think her behavior will change?

You deserve a wonderful person. Keep thinking that. I'm not saying she's not the one. I am saying you are precious.

@JeffWM thank you :)

Yes I am willing to trust her again. I've mentioned that.

@Kyruu

I know you mentioned it at the time you wrote it. I just wondered if the feeling changed.

As difficult as it is to face, do you have any idea why she chose to betray your trust?
