A small tip I live by when it comes to relationships (:
Break ups are hard and it's a definitely a tough time.
But I live by this:
If it doesn't work out with someone then it just wasn't meant to be, but now you're one step closer to your TRUE love.
I've told this before to speakers and I'm told it's inspiring so I thought I would share it with others (:
If you ever want to talk to someone about break-ups feel free to talk to me. (: Have a wonderful day everyone!
sorry, but "wasn't meant to be" is so cliche. we (and others) are responsible for how we treat people and we have to understand that there are consequences to our actions. this certainly doesn't mean that it's your fault if someone breaks up with you. people do lose their "true love" sometimes. it's awful and it hurts. i just think it's a fallacy to believe "everything happens for a reason". sometimes, there's just no good reason. you just have to be strong in yourself and seek support from those who care about you, and you can learn to move on.
That's not at all what I meant, honey. I'm sorry for any miscomunication that was in my post. I'm talking about relationships that have ended for good and there is nothing a person is going to do to make it work anymore thus giving up on the relationship. My point was to give advice about thinking differently when moving on from someone. I suppose it wasn't clear for everyone.
