Breaking up and coping with it?

So the relationship between my GF and I broke down a few days ago (5). She told me that 1) She just couldn't handle the stress of her exams. She has 8 Maths exams coming up in the next 2 months at University.

2) She was sad we couldn't spend enough time together because of her work/studies

3) "We argue all the time", which is simply not true.

Anyway, we were at her grandparents last weekend, we had a nice time but unfortunately with all the work she was doing (from 7 am to 6 pm, sometimes 10 pm) we didn't get to spend time together.

Her grandparents don't like unmarried couples sleeping in the same room.

Anyway, we got back to London, she got really horny, so we ended up having some great sex - then BOOM she breaks up with me.

It's probably over, but I do want her back. I know that trying to get back with her now is impossible because she's working every day. I've gone No Contact with her and we haven't spoken since the break up.

Any advice?

I'd say all you can do is wait until all her stress blows over and such. having no contact makes it difficult because there's no way to really offer her support but if you really believe you and her could work all you can do is play the waiting game

Im on the same boat as you but the situation is different. Just play the waiting game and see where fate leads you both. If she manages to come back to you, then she truly loves you and is meant to be. Love is like a boomerang, you throw it and let it go and if it comes back, it's meant to be. If it doesn't, then the boomerangisn't the one for you. Not sure if my comparison helped but that's all I can think of. Stay strong and don't fall into darkness like I have.

There is no such thing as fate, or a "boomerang" when it comes to love. If you don't work on it or if you let it go it'll disappear no matter what. I've tried this "don't do anything" approach before, and it never worked. I'm going 2 months no contact, then I'm going to talk to et and hopefully catch up with her when she's less stressed

She seems to be quite busy with her life. Maybe this is the perfect time to work on yourself, to have a distraction. Do anything that you enjoy, like traveling, or fishing, anything. Meet new people. If she truly wants the relationship to work, she'll speak to you again. If she doesn't, I'm sorry to say but she has probably moved on. I spent a lot of time wallowing in self pity during the break up, don't do, it makes things worst. Wait but don't wait forever, go out with friends and make new ones. Good luck!

When are her exams getting over? I think you should just wait until her exams are over before you try to get back together with her again. ..I think it might be just pure exam stress. ..maybe it was affecting her studies. ..maybe she felt it was unfair to you. ...just give it time. ...let her study in solitude as per she wishes ...then after her exams. ..you could give it a go ...trying to talk to her again. ... I don't agree with the waiting and watching. ..I don't think that works. ..
