Breakup and Family Loss back to back
Hey everyone. So a close member of the family was lost and couple days after my girl of 3 years decided to drop out on me. The funeral is this week so I’m trying to keep it together for everyone but it’s really hard. It was a great relationship too this is so out of the blue I just can’t believe it really. I can’t put any of this on my family right now as I need to try and be there for everyone. Just looking for an outlet so I can keep it together. Thanks everyone.

I'm so sorry for your double loss. If it happened to me, I'm pretty sure I would be immobilized by the grief.
I suspect that eventually your family will find out about the breakup. Then, there's a very good chance they will ask you why you didn't come to them for support. Perhaps you don't think that anyone in your family can be supportive in the way that you most need it now.
