Breakup holding me back from moving on

Hi, everyone. Still new to the forums here, so not entirely sure if this falls under the Breakup category. Apologies in advance.

It's been a year since my last breakup. It ended when I accused my boyfriend of cheating, and he dumped me for not trusting him soon after. Few months later, he announced in church that he had gotten engaged. I feel ready to move on and give dating another try, but it's still messing with my head. That experience left me second guessing myself, and I'm scared of being lied/cheated on again. Has anyone ever been in this position, and what have you done to push past this feeling?
