I have been dating a guy for 5 years the relationship started off well I met him in high school and he made me feel very special but since the start of our relationship he couldn’t be faithful which made me question if he was really interested in me and when he would get caught he begged me not to leave I liked him a lot so I always stayed and this was going on for 5 years. I just wanted to be loved I never had a boyfriend before & he was my first time passed by we moved out of town his family was there but I didn’t have anyone but him so he was kind of doing as he pleased. We found out I was pregnant after we planned the pregnancy and he then began to treat me differently. Out of anger I told him I wasn’t in love with him anymore because of the hurt so he told me he would do what he could to make things better. He tells me he wants to move back to Houston together because he told me he was going to move with his brother. A week later he got him an apartment and began to tell me how he wants space and he isn’t focused on a relationship anymore it kind of broke me because then I was the one begging him to stay because I really didn’t wanna do the pregnancy alone. Now it’s so many other women involved that he talks too but he still insists on keeping me around. Asking me for money to help him with bills and a lot of more other things , I really don’t know what to do at this point because I’m ready to find my person but I’m also still wanting to work things out with him even though he doesn’t want me and I know we probably aren’t good for one another anymore

Run, walk, waddle, hop, skip or jump... do whatever it is you need to do to get as far away from him as you can. He is using you. He won't stop using you. He's taking money from the mother of his unborn child to finance his social life and deceit filled lifestyle. Does that seem like something you want to deal with indefinitely? Because he won't stop until you no longer allow it to continue. He isn't worried about you or that baby. He's worried about only himself. He keeps you around by telling just enough to keep you hoping he will change but you've given him no reason to. We stick around because we see potential in someone but that means nothing unless they are ready to reach for it. Next thing you know it will be 10 years from now and you'll still be in the same spot wondering how you ended up that way with nothing to show for it. You don't need him but that baby does. Wouldn't you rather use your energy focusing on your baby instead of someone that doesn't appreciate you? It's hard to say no to someone you love but you should. You're never going to find your person until you do the extra weight. Free yourself to; find happiness.
