Cheating father
I have no idea what to do. I had a huntch that my dad might be cheating on my mom. It turns out he is. Hes been with another woman for 3 months now whilst with my mom. He asked me not to tell her but I think i should... what should I do? Tell her and her being heartbroken or just let it go?
Hey @Theatrenerd001. I'm actually going through something like that too right now. I've been sitting on the news for 8 months for other reasons.
I say tell her. Your mom's trust has been violated and she just doesn't know yet. Just be sure you're ready to deal with the repercussions that may arise. You need to be strong for your mom when you tell her the news.
@Theatrenerd001 I'd recommend (if you're not comfortable in telling her yourself), if you know of a family friend or relative or someone else who might act as the go-between.
It's really not fair for your dad to put you into this situation and it also might not be something you could handle on your own (not saying that you're not able or mature enough or whatever it's just that this can get SO complicated).
I'm really sorry you're going through that.
