Christmas and the broken hearted...
Thinking of you at this time if you/ve lost a loved one .. whether it be a death, a divorce, a separation, a broken relationship....its not likely to be an easy time for you. They say the first year, the first anniversaries, are difficult, and this is so true. And Christmas is a family time,and if your family is no longer the same, there is missing and sadness.To prepare your self and if you have children too, know that it may hit you. Maybe plan how you are going to spend the time, and begin a new ritual. Be gentle with your self and remember we are here for you. Wishing you love and peace and comfort.
Thank you for posting this. This is my first time here. I'm being driven to my brother's memorial as I type. I don't know how I'm going to get through this.
@newgirl27
I am so very sorry for your loss, this is terribly hard you for and I would like to offer my sincere condolences to you and your family. Just try and remember the happy memories you share together and treasure those thoughts, anything to help you through the day.
Take care X
Thank you, your kind words are very much appreciated right now.
I'm celebrating Christmas with my ex-partner who broke up with me a couple of months ago after almost 13 years together. Just two of us. How awkward is that?
We decided to remain friends, and both are currently single. I still have feelings for her, she said she stopped loving me some time ago. She seems to be interested in another person (she never said it directly, but I know her too well), and that person is unavailable for the holidays. Honestly, I don't know what to expect. Wish me luck...
