There is nothing wrong with feeling this way. In fact, feeling this way is healthy! The feelings you’re experiencing are all part of the process of healing. You're so right. Even though I'm angry with him for hurting one of the kids. After 24 years of marriage. I miss what I thought we had. All the growing old stuff I thought we'd be doing together..just gone.

Yes I agree, it’s the idea of them that we miss, because realistically we are better off without them.

I joined 7 cups, which has helped. Found a great listener. Reached out to family that loves and supports me. I contact my sister anytime I feel lonely. Reading and catching up on shows. Exercising and spending time outdoors with friends. Found someone in my family to watch a new show with, so gives me someone to spend time with every week. Been reaching out to people I neglected when I put him first. Been taking care of my health. Planning vacations, gives me something to look forward to. Bought myself something nice.
