Divorce is in the air

I will try to make this short as it is so much.

my wife and I go back all the way to first grade and re-met a couple of years ago. It was magical. We fell in love so hard it was unbelievable for both of us. We both have had pretty terrible past relationships and we’re both pretty set on never getting married. I moved in with her after about 3 months after we started dating and I knew it was kind of crazy to do so quickly but it felt right. We got engaged a couple of months later and a year ago we got married.

While we were engaged my wife had to undergo a surgery to remove her ovaries because of a health issue and can no longer have children and was forced into menopause in her early 30’s. Wow there is something I wish I learned about in school. It has changed her significantly. She is going through many changes and one of them being she now has a very low libido when before we couldn’t stay off of each other.

I was warned by her that there would be several changes but I was ignorant and thought they would be temporary and went ahead and got married and made the commitment.

Here we are a year later and I’m not even allowed to look at her without her thinking I’m a pervert. I can’t be in the room when she changes or anything close to that. I’m no longer allowed to sleep in our bedroom because I might touch her. She has become very controlling and has gaslit me into insanity.

then divorce became an everyday casual topic because her brother was going through one. He is the father of three children and they each have a different mother. This is his second wife (my wife’s best friend) and they just had a newborn baby. Even though everything seemed good for them he was having an affair with a coworker in front of the house (in the car) daily. I can’t make this up. So of course we would talk about it and casually would say stuff like “if this ever happened to us I’m taking the couch” jokingly. This happened for weeks. Then our anniversary came and we went out of town to celebrate and my wife complained the whole time and even got a different room so there could be two beds because she didn’t want me to try and initiate anything physical. When we were supposed to leave and head home we got into it because she was being so mean and I got out of the car and gave her my wedding ring and told her we are done and she left me in the parking lot almost 500 miles from home. I had to rent a car and drive back to get my few things and stay with my sister for a week. I moved back in a couple of weeks ago because we want to try to work it out but here I am still miserable in the other room while my wife sleeps like a baby

@creativeDay27

People change. She did more than most. I'm sorry. Looks like you have no choice now.
