Ex left me for someone else. We all live in the same house.
My ex recently began developing feelings for someone that moved in a couple of months ago. She told me it was nothing to worry about and made promises to me about our future together. But, maybe a week and a half ago, she told me that she wanted to end things so she could work out her feelings for him. They hang out all the time now and she doesn’t even want to be friends with me..I’m feeling alone and isolated. I really need some support through this. I feel like I’m losing my mind…
Oh my goodness. I am SO sorry you’re going through this. No one deserves this kind of disrespectful behavior from their partner. It sounds extremely toxic that you are all living in the same place so you have to see it happening all the time. Not sure if this is the most mature way of handling it, but I personally would start dating and going out often, even just to the cafe to work, make her see you are moving on. And actually really try to move on. That is so rude of her and pretty unforgivable in my opinion. Focus on what makes you happy outside of her. If it’s meant to workout, she will figure it out. But this is toxic. I’m so sorry.

I hope you’re able to find some peace. This girl doesn’t sound worth it for a future companion. Let her do her thing but most importantly, you do your thing! Go have some fun. Even go out on your own if you’re comfortable with that. Talk to strangers, engage and connect with new people. It will get better! And the greatest revenge is taking care of yourself first.
Hi there, it sounds heartbreaking to go through that. I’m wondering what kinda support do you want. Or what’s the thing that boggles your mind. For example, one might wonder why she did it, another might wonder what he can do. Btw, I suppose it would be worse if the other guy was ur friend.
