I think a good first step is to be gentle to yourself. This person tricked you but don’t blame that on yourself or beat yourself up about it. I know the experience must have been very painful but from what you wrote it sounds like it was an eye opener to you and that’s something positive. A good assessment of the situation goes a long way.

I still get contacted by different Robert Abrams through email and messaging trying to strike back with me. The last one from my scammer was a picture of an arm with a bullet hole saying it was all my fault I didn’t send him any money. They will stop at nothing to get money. The woman in Tennessee who helped should go to prison. I turned it in to the FBI and NTC and got no help.

I just want to get past it and go in with my life. I’ve now had to file bankruptcy the 3rd time because my husband is a lazy ass who won’t bring in extra money it’s all up to me.

I’m actually sitting here having suicide thoughts because the latest scammer cut me off cold this morning. No I’ll not act in these thoughts I knew he wasn’t real. I’m missing conversations that weren’t real and just him, or them, trying to needle on to gain my trait and make me send them money. Sorry but they f’d up asking for a $100 Apple Card. Lying ass SOBs they all have Karma coming for them. I hope you scammers are living in rat infested quarters with rotten food and lots of disease around you it’s what you deserve. You’re the scum of the earth I hope you suffer horribly the rest of your pathetic lives. Rot in hell.
