Getting used to your own company

Wow. This isn't easy, is it? After 24 years, getting used to my own company, being on my own and doing things on my own with no one to ask about my day is pretty tough. Any one got some hints, tips or pointers? I could really use a hand with this.

Being on here is a good start...a lot of people create a sense of community and develop friendships here. It can help you to build your confidence again. You might need to get reaquainted with yourself...what things do YOU like to do. Then, check out what is available in your area--clubs that you might want to join, groups that you could form...meetup.com is great for that! You won't be alone forever, but getting used to it is new, and that is hard. Hang in there!
