Got dumped again but he is still texting me?
Me and my bf of 2 and a half years have been on and off constantly latley, i struggle with depression and he also has his own problems.i think he might be bipolar, his moods change constantly from happy to angry and its hard to keep up with. He got mad at me the other day over a miner issue which he turned into an argument so he dumped me again. Today he has been checking in on me and texting me. The last text he sent was " i love you, speak tomorrow xx" what does that mean? I know we are broken up but it feels like we havent. I dont know what to think, one minute im a burden on him and the next he wants to sprt things out but not actually talk about it? Im picking my stuff up from his this friday so maybe i can ask him. I dont even want to breakup, he says thats what he wants yet hes still texting me and acting normal?..... very very confused. We break up so much its hard to know if its a real breakup or not? Anyone got any advice or been in a similar situation?
@Shanicorn321 Hi! I'm sorry you're going through that. I think you need to be upfront with him and ask him diretly if he wants to be with you or not. If he says yes, then you need to address why he is constantly changing his mind and going back and forth, and empashive to him how this is hurting you and your trust in the relationship. A relationship shouldn't be a guessing game and you deserve to have answers. If he says no, that he does not want to be together, you need to tell him that if he feels that way it would be best that he didn't reach out to talk to you. Again, tell him how this is confusing and hurting you. If someone does not want to be in a relationship it's not fair to keep the other person holding onto hope because of a few text messages. lso, if he does hav bi-polar you can help him through that only by referring him to a therapist and giving him your support. As selfish as it sounds, his mental disorders are not your responsibility no matter how much you want to help or love him. I wish you the best!
