Greatest Mistake

Hello. I know people will criticize me for what I did and I completely understand. I had an affair with my Husband’s best friend. During the affair, I felt loved, cared for, appreciated and all I can see is him like the world didn’t give me any options. I was so blinded, i didn’t see I already have everything in my life and I chose to throw it away thinking i needed a different reality. Even after everyone finding out and getting kicked out of the house me and my affair partner continued what we have for a few weeks as we thought it was what’s meant for us but guilt and the pain from hurting a lot of people was eating me. The fog cleared, we agreed on going our separate ways and I still love my husband, i want my life with him back but I feel like he’s done with me and I don’t know how to go on with my life anymore. Do i still even try?

@hotmess277

Of course you try.

But you need to allow yourself time yo heal.

Something wasn't right in the first place for you to throw it all away.

You might have to accept it's over forever for your husband.

That's tough but you deserve to try and put together a meaningful life for yourself 🩷

Just an opinion:

If your husband has been good to you, HE IS WORTH THE FIGHT. If you sincerely see your wrong, tell him so A THOUSAND TIMES, if he so allows you to. If he is still willing to talk to you, HUMBLE YOURSELF and TALK. APOLOGIZE, APOLOGIZE APOLOGIZE from your heart. Be patient and give him time, as long as he is willing. If he loves you, he will need time to heal but he will come back to you or allow you to come back to him.. You will definitely have to show by your actions that you really meant the apology and then DO GO WAYYYY OVERBOARD in reassuring him, through WORD AND ACTIONS , that he is and always will be your one and only . You will have to earn his trust again and that will take time, just like building the trust took time. Be SINCERE. And remember that there is going to ALWAYS be some other man trying to get your attention. YOU MUST DECIDE that next time that you are approached, no matter how enticing that other man might be, YOU MUST DECIDE to REACT DIFFERENTLY. I don't condone what you did, but work on FORGIVING YOURSELF. Learn from your mistake. YES, TRY, YOU SHOULD. You don't want to be regretting that you didn't even try , later on down the line.
