Isn't there some quick fix to not feel all the pains of a break up, you didn't see coming?

I ask myself constantly, do men feel anything? Do they sit down and think about their actions and how they ill-treat someone that's literally been there for them despite anything, when no one else cared?

My ex partner made me feel as if he's disconnected from emotions, from feeling.

He decided to dump me, after somewhat of a disagreement that turned into a huge fall out, after I told him he's not there for me emotionally. It got so bad that I was told the most horrific words and i was thrown out of his car.

That evening, I got a text saying. "I need nothing of you," "don't try to change someone," " I'm done with this chapter in my life, "don't contact me again"

Next thing, I'm blocked all over.

How was I changing him though? When each time I'm in a horrible place, caused by him. He disregards me, makes me feel even worst. All I wanted of him was to be present emotionally. Comfort me. Not disrespect me.

I've become such a fool that, I'd even apologize when he's clearly in the wrong. He doesn't believe in apologizing. He's manipulated me so much, that its broken me down emotionally and mentally. I can't even focus on my exams😪, whereas he's life goes on, happily.

Hello Harper!

I don't think that there is some quick fix to not feel pain. It's common to feel pain and hurt when something awful or hurtful was done to us. I'm sorry that you were broken up in a disagreement. That was hurtful for what he did to you but I don't think you are a fool. You were in love with someone who changed how they felt for you. And that is not your fault. Hoping that you are able to get through this and continue on ❤️
