He says he'll change. Should I go back?

I left my abusive boyfriend yesterday. He and his mom have convinced me to meet up with them this weekend to discuss the reasons why I left and what he would need to do for me to go back to him. I'm so confused right now.

@decisiveHouse5171 in my opinion you should absolutely not go. Toxicity often creates a vicious cycle. I know from my experience with an abusive partner that, even when he says he'll change, more often then not he will end up the same way he was before, and then the cycle will start again. Break the cycle. Remember there is always support for people in abusive relationships or with past experiences. Here for you x
