How Do I Move On: How to Live After It's Done

We haven't broken up yet. But I am. I will when I come home from college and I see him again. Because he has hurt me so much to the point where I actually considered taking me own life one time. And it's a long story I don't feel like telling.

But he emotionally cheated on me. And would be physically cheating on me if the girl he was chasing after was interested in him. But she, and several of his other friends, have told him that what he's doing is wrong and he says he knows but he still does it. And I have finally had enough. It's going to be over. And despite how much I still love him, even though it doesn't seem he does, I'm going to end it to save myself.

My question is, how much is it going to hurt once it's over? And what can I do to help myself move on?

Nobody can tell you for how long it will hurt because you will find out, that you love him more when you guys break up and will miss him so bad!!

but you have to focus on why you broke up with him and think about how and why that was the best call... When I broke up with my stupid ex, reading and talking to strangers really helped because I'm very conservative and I just don't like to bother my friends with my drama so I bothered strangers instead haha... But really, just do things that make you happy and try not to listen to sad songs when your alone, because trust me, is the key to a melt down

I know your hurting now, and it feels real bad, I am truly sorry for that, but let me tell you a couple of things about breakups! As bad as they are, the hurt, pain and in some cases deceit, in time we heal, but not only do we heal, we grow stronger and more protective of our own well being. You see, in the long run we learn an great deal about ourselves during breakups, what we want, what we don't want, the way we view ourselves and others, what's we expect from ourselves and others, all this, all the pain and hurt your going through right now, will have a huge impact on the foundations of your next relationship, and I know you are not looking that far ahead, but trust me, it true.

The pain and hurt we go through in life, makes us stronger for our future. You deserved to be loved and cherished in the same way you love someone, and one day, you will find someone who wants you for there future, trust me, it will happen.

Stay strong dear, I think you are being amazingly brave, for taking control of your future, I hope everything works out right for you

Best Wishes ❤️
